Laura McLaughlin is an interior designer and former attorney who blends eclectic traditionalism with her love of history to create spaces that feel inviting, transportive, and deeply personal. She draws on her multidisciplinary background in art history, real estate, and law to bring a storyteller’s sensibility, a keen eye for detail, and an intuitive sense of style to her work. Her designs are inspired by English interiors, classic American architecture, French flea markets, her childhood summer camps, and the natural beauty of coastal New England. Through thoughtful layering of antiques, natural materials, and patterned textiles, Laura creates homes that are comfortable and warm, that stand up to real life.
Laura holds a Bachelors in Art History from Tufts University, a Masters in Education Policy from Boston University, and a JD from Boston College. She's also a licensed Realtor.
When not working with her clients, Laura is an avid musician and singer, a lifelong sailor, and a passionate camper and hiker. She lives in Needham with her husband, two young children, and westie, Scout.
